The Mayo Clinic in Rochester has broken ground on a large research facility focused on regenerative medicine, genomics, and advanced clinical trials. The building is part of a broader expansion aimed at keeping Mayo at the forefront of medical innovation.
Officials say the project will bring hundreds of new jobs to the region and strengthen Minnesota’s role as a global healthcare hub. Construction is expected to take three years.
The facility will also house collaborative labs for partnerships with universities and biotech companies.
