The Minnesota State Fair has unveiled a lineup of new food vendors for the 2025 fair season, adding inventive dishes to its famously eclectic food culture. Highlights include wild rice birria tacos, smoked honey-butter corndogs, and maple-glazed walleye bites.
Fair organizers say the new vendors were selected from more than 300 applicants, with judges focusing on creativity, local ingredients, and Minnesota culinary identity. The announcement has already generated buzz online as residents debate which dishes will become the new fair favorites.
The 12-day event draws more than 2 million visitors annually, making it one of the country’s largest and most influential state fairs.
