Profile/Background
NEAT Media (New England Ascent Tribune) is a nonprofit News Network dedicated to elevating the stories, perspectives, and experiences of immigrants and people of color across New England.
Our mission is to promote inclusion, equity, and understanding through journalism that reflects the true diversity of our region. We provide a trusted space where underrepresented communities can share their voices, celebrate their achievements, and address the challenges that shape their daily lives.
Through storytelling, education, and civic engagement, NEAT Media builds bridges between cultures and strengthens the collective identity of New England’s immigrant and multicultural communities.
What We Do
NEAT Media connects and empowers immigrants and communities of color through independent, community-centered journalism.
We:
- Report on stories that matter, from local policy and education to culture and community success.
- Engage the public through podcasts, interviews, digital media, and community forums.
- Educate audiences to foster awareness, inclusion, and mutual understanding.
- Collaborate with local organizations and leaders to promote equitable media representation.
Every story we tell uplifts voices often left unheard and helps shape a more informed, united, and just New England.
Where We Work
NEAT Media operates across New England’s diverse communities, working closely with immigrants, refugees, and people of color to highlight their experiences and contributions.
Our journalism is rooted in the neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces where these communities live, grow, and lead, ensuring that their stories are seen, heard, and valued.
